Ljubljana, 6 2. 2026

Between 2 and 6 From February 2 to 6, 2026, the European Space Agency (ESA), in collaboration with the Faculty of Civil and Geodetic Engineering (UL FGG), organized a training session on radar polarimetry. The training was part of ESA’s educational activities within the “Earth Observation for Society” program. The program, in which UL FGG also participates, is designed to promote research and strengthen knowledge in the field of advanced Earth observation to enable more effective societal responses to global environmental changes. During the intensive training, approximately 50 participants delved into methods of radar interferometry and radar polarimetry, with a special focus on processing new Biomass data.
